Ittawamba Lodge 235 is very excited to host the 2008 SR-6N Conclave and hopes this proves to be the best Conclave to date. Our Camp, Camp Mack Morris, is somewhat centrally located for the section and has wonderful facilities to host a Conclave. Please consider attending Conclave this year...you won't be disappointed. About the Camp

Camp Mack Morris is an beautiful 600 acre camp located along the Birdsong creek of the Tennessee River is rural West Tennessee. We have already completed lots of work for Conclave and look forward to seeing you all in West Tennessee in April.

Camp Mack Morris has numerous resources that will be utilized to host Conclave. Check out the map of camp (located in the left column menu) to get an overview and layout of our camp. Mack Morris has: thirteen campsites with latrines and wash basins, a dining hall with seating for 300, several covered pavilions, an Order of the Arrow Lodge, a previous dining hall, a trading post, first aid facilities, two cabins, a shooting sports area, a COPE course, two shower houses, and a Waterfront area.

Parking

We will be using a satellite parking area and running a shuttle for Conclave.
Note: Special Parking Accommodations will be made for buses

Check In Procedure

Upon entering camp we request that you follow the procedure below so we can check all participants in in a timely and fair manner

  • Arrival at Camp: “drop off” your gear and passengers in the gravel lot in front of Dinning Hall
  • The driver takes the vehicle back to the satellite parking area. While the driver is moving the vehicle, passengers will check in at their respective lodge area and the gear will be transported to their lodge’s campsite.
  • Once the driver reaches the satellite parking area they will be instructed by host lodge personal on where they need to park. The drivers will then be shuttled back to the camp.
  • Upon the driver’s re-arrival at camp they will check in and rejoin their traveling group/lodge contingency.

Tentage

A certain number of 8x8 canvas wall tents will be available on a first come first serve basis. This will depend upon which campsite your lodge will be in. WE ASK THAT YOU STILL BRING YOUR PERSONAL TENT IN THE EVENT THAT A WALL TENT IS NOT AVAILABLE.

Medical Information

During Conclave we will have First Aid Facilities available at the First Aid Lodge (see map for location). Our First Aid Lodge will be staffed with practicing Physicians so we will be able to handle any medical emergency that might occur. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BRING A BSA CLASS I MEDICAL FORM; IT WILL BE COLLECTED AT CHECK-IN.
